It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I thought I'd write up a little entry here to say hello and introduce myself. My screenname is foxysquid because I like both foxes and squid--and also, I am usually assured of obtaining said screenname, since no one else willingly chooses to style themselves as a vulpine cephalopod.

Let's see, what else...? I am female. I am fond of tea, cats, and pirate ships. I write for a living, but I also love drawing and can frequently be found with a pigment liner in my hand. None can explain my love for pigment liners, least of all myself. Currently, I am in the grip of an obsession with Avatar: The Last Airbender, so I will be posting a lot of fanart for the series here, I'm sure. I do frequently draw other things, though, amazingly enough.

This concludes my brief introduction, as it's time for bed.

I've never heard of the concept of ghostwriters before, had to look it up. It's kind of a fascinating thing. Must be weird to write the majority of a book and not have your name on the cover.
