My friend :iconaliwildgoose: surprised me by generously coloring this older piece for me, so I thought I'd post the colored version, since it turned out so nice. Thanks, Ali! :heart:

From my original description:

In the episode Bato of the Water Tribe, Bato tells Katara and Sokka, "After I was wounded, your father carried me to this abbey." I wanted to try my hand at illustrating that scene.

Aww, I love these two. Best friends forever! :D

It's very nice how the texture in your lineart translates to being colored. The shading is great and the textures just make it all pop out even more. And Bato's arm looks just utterly painful. Poor guy. *sniffle*
