Reian Reference

I'm not sure if I have a chance of winning, but I thought it would be fun to enter. As you can see, this is Reian, from my novel The Wind and the Foxes. I would have made it fancier, but unfortunately, I didn't have time.

Edited to add some more facts:

--Reian has a partner in business/best friend, the shrewd and sarcastic Imbri.

--Generally optimistic, cheerful, and determined, it takes a lot to bring Reian down.

--Although Reian does have his less cheerful days, as he has had a run of bad luck recently (at the time of the story).

--Birds might think him ugly, but among his own people, he's considered quite the handsome fellow. He really shouldn't be vain about it... but he is.

--He wears his hair loose and shaves his face because he is still a young, unmarried man, but when he (finally) gets married, he'll be able grow a beard and braid his hair. He's looking forward to it!

--Fortunately for Reian, there are two fine wives in his future.
