More watercolor practice! This is gift art of :iconalexds1:'s character Luca, from The Meek.

Luca is an emperor, and the stylized drapery at the bottom is inspired by Roman emperors. Whenever I think of emperors, I think of Rome first. I know it's very Romancentric of me, I apologize. :)

As always, I am not the world's best watercolor scanner. I apologize for that, too!

Yes, watercolor is hard to scan...I've found that most times you need to mess with them in photoshop afterwords. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much! I really appreciate that. I'll keep practicing. I did try to fix it a bit in Photoshop, so at least it looks better than it would have otherwise.

I know, I need to be more equal in my admiration of emperors. I know there are many other great, interesting, and crazy emperors out there!

I just love those Julio-Claudians (even among Romans, I have a further bias, so sad).
